Do nuts expire, and how can you tell if they're still good to eat?

#NutsStorageTips: ๐ŸŒฐ Nuts are low in moisture but can spoil over time. Here's how to keep them fresh:

1. Pine Nuts: Room temp (1-2 months) or freezer (5-6 months).

2. Almonds & Walnuts: Up to 2 years in a cool, dry place.

- Seal in bags/containers with steady humidity.

- Divide into small bags to prevent oxidation.

- Room temp (3 months), fridge (6 months), or freezer (1+ year) storage, depending on type.

- Holes in packaging (weevils).

- Insects.

- Green rot spots.

- Musty odor.

- Wetness.

- Altered taste.

When in doubt, toss them! ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ
